A Creative Release for Wyvern's Young Carers
On Monday 13 July 2026, young carers at Wyvern took part in a Rage Room activity funded by Friends of Wyvern at a cost of £800.
Young carers can carry significant responsibilities alongside school and everyday life. This activity offered a fun, safe and supportive way to let off steam, express emotions and enjoy time together. Inside the specially prepared booth, participants could smash crockery and channel some of that pent-up energy in a controlled environment.
The session also produced a colourful piece of artwork, turning the energy of the experience into something creative and memorable.
We are proud to fund experiences that support wellbeing as well as learning. For Wyvern’s young carers, the Rage Room created space for emotional release, connection and fun in a setting designed to help everyone feel supported.
